Thanksgiving snuck up on me the year.. anyone else? We are hosting on Thursday and looking forward to having a fun day with family. I have Trader Joe's trips to make, a really big turkey to dress, pies to bake and kids to entertain in the meantime though. Despite the busyness of the week, its hard not to feel mighty grateful this time of year. My boys are happy and healthy and just as crazy as ever, we are surrounded by an amazing tribe or friends and family we get to connect with the best of old friends this week and the list goes on.

Writing this post was a helpful reminder to me keep these traditions going and get my boys more involved. Hopefully in the midst of all the prep, delicious food and Black Friday deals we can all take time to give thanks and give back.
