Happy Friday friends! Hope everyone had a great week. This is our second week in a row with a birthday and celebrations, so we're on a bit of a sugar high over here. The kiddos are all home from school as today kicks off Spring break here in Maine. I took my oldest bike shopping today - he turned 7 (going on 17) and needed an upgrade of his wheels big time. We have a few fun Easter egg hunts this weekend and looking forward to spending Easter with family for brunch. I'm also thinking of running to sunrise service on the beach. Then we're off on our big adventure. We'll be making our way down to Florida via car and train. You'll want to stay tuned for updates for sure as it's going to be a crazy ride. I'm trying to get everyone packed and I'm trying to do it methodically with all our different destinations, but at the end of the day I think I'm just going to throw everything in there car. I should probably be packing and organizing and not writing, but I've been eager to share some of my current favorites. I admit today's Friday Favorites is a bit of a random round-up, but these are all products/things I'm loving right now especially as we're heading into warmer weather and vacation!
1. Kortni Jeane Swimwear
I finally purchased a few of these pieces and am for once actually really excited to wear a bathing suit on vacation. The retro style and high waist is flattering and forgiving (esp for the mom pouch), the colors and patterns are so fun and I love the mixing and matching you can do with these suits.
2. Nickel & Suede earrings
Ok these are a longtime favorite, but with the warm weather and Spring wardrobe change, I've been pulling them out even more and have a renewed love. They're so lightweight, easy to wear, and really go with almost everything. Note I usually wear the small or medium sizes and really love the cut-out style too.
3. Wary Meyers Sea Melon Candle
My first reason for trying these candles was because they're made locally here in Maine and sold at Gingham, a great local boutique in my town. All of the scents are fabulous, but this sea melon is my favorite and a welcomed refreshing smell in my house of boys.
4. Superga Classic Sneakers (in coffee with gold accents)
I received these in one of my recent boxes from Stitch Fix, and I've barely taken them off since. They are comfortable for chasing my boys around and so versatile especially with the gold trim; they can easily be dressed up or down. Perfect transition footwear into the warmer months.
5. Hello Fresh
I've literally had a review post about Hello Fresh in a draft for months now, I promise to finish and publish when I can back from vacation. In the meantime, check out some rambling thoughts I posted on Facebook as to why we've really been loving the service - check out the Facebook post here. 6. Rodan+Fields ESSENTIALS Foaming Sunless Tanner
With vacation and wardrobe changes upon us I've been wanting to give me legs a little color after this long winter. I've tried a lot self tanners over the years, and this foaming sunless tanner is my new favorite. The texture is totally different than all the others I've tried, but it goes on easily and doesn't streak (yay!)
7. Floral Body Oil from Island Apothecary
Another Maine made favorite! I just discovered this oil (and their other products) this winter and can't get enough. It's so healing on my skin still dried out from the winter, and whats not to love about the natural ingredients and sweet scents.
8. Third Love Bras
I was first intrigued by the extensive fit guide and the ability to try before you buy, but now I'm hooked, actually not sure I'll go bra shopping in a store again anytime soon. I often have a hard time finding bras that fit me well, but these bras fit me great and are also comfortable, quality and really pretty.
