Can you believe February vacation is here?!? My kids are off the whole week starting on the 20th. It will be a welcome break from our usual pace, no rushing to the bus or preschool drop off. We plan to do a combination of playing hockey (of course) chilling out, catching up with friends and some outdoor adventuring. If you're like us and not heading off to warmer climates this break, I've put together a list for us of fun spots and activities to check out. We are kicking off the break tonight with a hockey tournament in Rockland and staying at the Samoset. If you are looking for an easy and affordable getaway, the Samoset offers great Maine resident rates in the winter and during break they are ready for kids with an indoor game room, movie nights, sledding and lots more. Anyway, here's my list - I know there's so much more to add, so I'd love you to leave a comment with other ideas!
